About Maya Enterprise

We don't just install floors.
We make the chemistry.

Maya Enterprise is a trusted name in concrete flooring solutions, based in Kolkata, West Bengal. With over 18 years of experience, we have been transforming floors with durable, aesthetically pleasing, high-performance surfaces tailored to a wide range of spaces.

Most flooring companies buy their materials in. We manufacture ours — hardeners, primers, diluents, phenalkamine adducts and cashew nut shell liquid — then install them ourselves and export them worldwide. That means the specification, the batch and the application all answer to one team.

  • ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management
  • In-house resin chemistry — 14 manufactured product lines
  • End-to-end delivery from consultation to handover
  • Low-VOC and bio-based options for green building

Six reasons clients keep coming back

Every product and service we offer undergoes stringent quality checks by experienced professionals, so execution matches specification.

01

High quality materials

Premium-grade epoxy resins, hardeners and topcoats — manufactured in-house, so we control the formulation rather than inherit it.

02

Expert installation

Skilled applicators trained in current epoxy technologies, using mechanical grinders and shot-blasting for correct substrate profiling.

03

Industrial grade technology

Advanced equipment and application techniques suited to heavy traffic, chemical exposure and continuous production environments.

04

Customised solutions

Chemical resistance, anti-slip texture, ESD control or decorative finishes — the system is specified around your facility, not a catalogue.

Anatomy of a floor

A floor is not a coat of paint. It's a system.

What you walk on is the last 0.3 mm of a build-up that starts with shot-blasting the concrete. Each layer does a different job, and skipping one is where floors fail.

Figures shown are typical values for a medium-duty self-levelling system. Actual build-up, dry film thickness and cure schedule are specified per site following substrate testing.

How we work

Six stages, in this order, every time

Most floor failures trace back to a stage that was rushed. Preparation is where the money is either saved or wasted.

01Stage 01

Site evaluation & consultation

We assess your site's conditions, usage and performance expectations to recommend the right epoxy system.

02Stage 02

Surface preparation

Using mechanical grinders or shot-blasting, we prepare the substrate to ensure maximum adhesion.

03Stage 03

Primer application

A primer layer seals the surface and promotes a strong bond with the layers that follow.

04Stage 04

Epoxy application

Resin is applied in multiple layers for optimal strength, flatness and visual consistency.

05Stage 05

Curing

The system is left to cure fully under controlled conditions before any load is placed on it.

06Stage 06

Final inspection & handover

After curing we conduct a full inspection against the agreed quality standards before handover.

Frequently asked

Questions we get before every project

A correctly specified and correctly installed industrial epoxy floor typically performs for well over a decade under normal factory traffic. Life depends far more on substrate preparation and system thickness than on the resin itself — which is why we shot-blast rather than acid-etch, and why we won't quote a thin system for a heavy-traffic floor.

The floor has to be cleared and the area isolated during application and curing. We plan around shutdowns, weekends and shift patterns to keep downtime to a minimum, and we will tell you the realistic return-to-service time for foot traffic and for vehicle traffic separately — they are not the same.

Often, yes — but only after testing. We check the substrate for moisture, soundness, contamination and any previous coating. A failing or oily substrate will pull a new floor off with it, so where the existing surface can't be made sound, we say so before quoting rather than after.

It depends on load, traffic type and chemical exposure. A light-duty commercial floor can perform at under a millimetre; a plant floor taking forklift and pallet impact usually needs a substantially heavier build-up. We specify thickness after seeing the site, not from a price list.

We manufacture. Hardeners, primers, diluents, phenalkamine adducts and cashew nut shell liquid are produced by us in Kolkata. That means we can adjust a formulation to a site's requirements, and it means the batch that arrives on your floor is traceable to us rather than to a third-party supplier.

Yes. Conductive and dissipative systems are specified as a complete build-up — conductive primer, earthing network and dissipative topcoat together — because surface resistance is a property of the whole system, not of the topcoat alone. Tell us the resistance band you need to hold and we will specify to it.

Yes. We manufacture to order, batch-test, pack for international shipping and manage documentation, customs clearance and logistics. For larger projects we can also provide remote technical support or deploy technicians to assist with installation and training.

We do. Our phenalkamine chemistry is derived from cashew nut shell liquid, a renewable feedstock, and we supply low-VOC and solvent-free hardeners for projects with green building or indoor air quality requirements.

We are based in Kolkata and undertake installation work across India, including projects in Maharashtra and Gujarat. Product supply and export are available worldwide.
